Life in Thailand

Bangkok Thailand

I’ve been living on and off in Thailand for more than ten years now. During this time, I’ve managed to pick up Thai, both in speaking and writing, by studying really hard. When I first landed in Thailand, I was blown away by how warm and friendly everyone was. It was like a peek into a life way different than what I was used to back in the US. I saw people with very few material possesions who seemed happier than those back home with a lot more. That really changed how I saw the world and made me realize that being truly happy comes from inside and being grateful for what we already have.

Thailand has made a big impact on me and it keeps me wanting to learn more each day.

And it’s taught me that even when things look crazy and chaotic, there can be a hidden order to it. Also, it showed me that the heart matters a lot, and we should never forget that.
